Which campus event do you never miss (and why)?

I never miss the Dual Enrollment Extravaganza. It's a great opportunity to meet new students.

What does it mean to be a Laker?

As a Clayton State Admissions Counselor for Dual Enrollment, being a Laker means empowering the next generation with the knowledge and tools they need to jumpstart their education and career. Go Lakers!

If you could have one superpower while helping students, what would it be?

I'd love to be a mind reader! It would help me answer every question before my students even ask.

If you could give your freshman self one piece of advice, what would it be?

Get involved! Research by sociology professor Vincent Tinto shows that students who engage in campus activities are more likely to graduate. So whether you're a new freshman or transitioning to college for the first time in a while, join clubs, attend events, and make connections.

What song always get you pumped for the day?

The song that gets me pumped is "Be Blessed" by Bishop Paul S. Morton and any mix by Jam Pony Express (JPE)!

Fun Fact:

I was the first in my family to earn an Associate's, Bachelor's, and Master's degree.
